In late 2005, Heather Beckett joined the sales team at SSF's Park Hyatt, Beaver Creek Office. Beckett came to Beaver Creek with an extensive background in sales. Prior to coming over to SSF, she was a broker for fractional ownerships at The Ritz-Carlton Club, where she participated in selling out their developer inventory in half the time originally anticipated. Beckett was named top producer for the entire Ritz-Carlton Club development during her 3.5 years there, and was recognized by Ritz-Carlton worldwide as a Top Salesperson. Prior to that, she was a Slifer Smith & Frampton broker at the company’s Eagle Ranch Sales Center. A native of New England, she grew up in New Hampshire and summered on Cape Cod. Following graduation she headed to NYC and joined Conde Nast Publications. Visiting Vail one winter, she “fell in love” with the community and shortly thereafter made the valley her home. Her first jobs included sales positions for TV, radio, The Vail Daily.
Beckett especially loves being in the Beaver Creek office because of its close proximity to Bachelor Gulch and her many clients at the Ritz-Carlton Club, now Timbers Bachelor Gulch. “I have gotten to know many of them very well, consider them to be dear friends and look forward to continued relationships,” she said. Jim Flaum, SSF’s President says of Beckett “She has distinguished herself not only in sales per se but in exemplary client service. In addition, her extensive knowledge of the communities of Beaver Creek Mountain and the entire Vail Valley is a valuable asset to our business.”
In her first year at SSF, Beckett was awarded "Rookie of the Year" for 2006. Beckett earned her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) accreditation in 2007. In 2010, Beckett was recognized as one of the top 25 Real Estate 25 producers in Eagle County, and in 2012, Beckett was named as one of Slifer's top 20 Brokers (Eagle Award) and was also awarded SSF's Rising Star Award for another stellar sales year. That same year she ranked 59 for all brokers in the State of Colorado. Heather continues to excel with repeat business and the many referrals she receives from her clients. She specializes in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch but enjoys selling all varieties of real estate including Vail, Cordillera, Eagle, and has extensive knowledge in fractional ownership. She also has a special interest in ranch and larger acreage properties and is one of the premiere listing agents for these types of properties. She has built many homes in the Valley so is intimately familiar with the construction process. Beckett lives in Eagle Ranch with her two children, Sophie & Noah (ages 11 and 9) and their rescue dog, Ava. Her recreational pursuits include all things Colorado; horseback riding, skiing, CrossFit, snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking.
